Microsoft Exchange Server Error(5.5) 1

Everytime a newmail box is created for a normal user this is the error that comes up when trying to setup their mailbox " The logon credentials supplied were incorret.Make sure your username and domain are correct,then type your password again",but when given domain admin rights this does not happen.This is puzzling....someone please assist.

Is the Exchange server a Domain server or a memeber server?

This could be the problem.

My exchange Server is a member server.

Make sure that the user in question has permissions to the mailbox object. By default dom admins have permission to all mailbox objects so this is why putting them in the admin group enables them to open the mailbox.
