Is it possible to insert formula (e.g. title containing linked info) into an Excel Shape such as Rectangular Callout?

See example below of concatenated information that might put into this shape. The link to another cell on a different sheet contains the Product Name; the quote marks around text would not appear of course.

Formula inside Rectangular Callout: ="Product Information For-"&'Product Detail Sheet'!AH4&"-FY05 Description"

Thank you in advance for feedback!

hi,

In a cell on some sheet, could be a hidden sheet if need be. Lets say its SheetZ!A1
[tt]
SheetZ!A1: ="Product Information For-"&'Product Detail Sheet'!AH4&"-FY05 Description"
[/tt]

Then in your shape, Edit Text and enter in the Formula Bar
[tt]
=SheetZ!A1
[/tt]

In other words, the formula in your shape must be ONLY a reference.

Personally, I'd make the reference a Named Range.

Skip,

My goodness -- You've done it again! It worked and will take your advice about using a Named Range.

I must say ... You've been answering my questions for a lot of years and have learned tons from you. In addition to stars, sending you a heartfelt THANK YOU!

Thanx for those very nice words. I'm glad to share the bits I've learded.
