Want to draw color for the day saturday and sunday of the month in a Excel sheet automatically. Please advice how to do that ?

Hi,

No need to do any 'drawing' to get color in Excel.

The INTERIOR or BORDERS of cells, or the FONT can be colored. This can be accomplished using Format > Conditional Formatting.

In the CF window, choose Formula Is and enter a formula like this, depending on the column where your DATES reside. In my example the DATES are in column B...
[tt]
=OR(TEXT(B2,"ddd")="Sat",TEXT(B2,"ddd")="Sun")
[/tt]
and set the FORMAT as desired.

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]
