Microsoft Certifications.....Should I go for it?

I'm thinking of getting a MCSD certification....
What does anyone think....Is it really as valuable as the places offering the cert preach, or is there no substitution for a BS in Comp Sci?

I think that it is a great addition to a BSc in Computer Science. Its a great way of getting a job in a specific area.
