Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.5 Library Missing 1

I have written a database that makes use of ADO 2.5, but have subsequently discovered that not all versions of Ms Access within my department have this avaiable to them.
Does anybody know if I can download this from somewhere, so that I can get my database working on everybodys PC?

I recently had a simular problem. You might be able to use 2.0 which I was able to do.

see thread707-647522 for some code to help you determine if it is missing. You should be able to copy the .dll and add it using this code as well.

If you click on the reference in VBA editor>Tools>References
it will show you the dll envolved then you sould be able to copy and add. Manually or with code.

Hi, you need the executable mdac_typ.exe which can be downloaded from microsoft's web-site
