Everytime our IT department changes out someone's computer the person with the new computer has problems accessing onf of our Access Databases. Under References we get the following:
MISSING:MICROSOFT ACTIVE X DATA OBJECTS CDO 2.1 LIBRARY
They are starting to get stubborn about adding this to the computers. They want me to change references so this will not be an issue. I do not understand what they want me to change to and to be honest I do not understand fromt he database what actually calls this Data Object. I am assuming it is the accSendObject Module. If this is so can anyone provide any info as to what the issue is and if there is a fix for our IT department not to have to deal with this each time they swap out a computer. Thanks.
