Microsoft Access to AS/400 Link Table Error!!!

Hello everyone I'm receiving the error "Microsoft Access can't open the table in Datasheet view" every time I try to open a link table from the AS/400. Can anyone please help with my problem I'm new to ODBC and SQL so please give it to me in simple English.

I upgraded to Access 2000 and I'm getting the same error. I use both IBM Client Access and HiT Software to connect to the data on the AS400. Both give me that error.

If I run the application it crashes with the message:

The instruction at "0x65009f45" referenced memory at "0xfffc4d87". The memory could not be "read".

It worked fine with Access 2000.

Has anyone found a solution?
