I have an access report. the problem is it puts a record on one page and then puts exactly ten blank pages before the next record.

It should have many more than one record on a page and in total there are about 500+ pages when it could probably fit onto about 20.

Does anyone know any reason it may be leaving ten blank pages in between records and why it only puts one record on a page.

When you look at the report in preview mode do you get 500 pages? If so, open the report in design mode and make sure the width of the report isn't more than 8" wide. Hope this helps.

The width is in cm not inches but it wont let me change it anyway i type a new figure and it just reverts back to the old figure straight away

No. You went to FILE, PAGE SET-UP. What you want to make sure is that the background of the report (the white space in the detail section of the report) isn't wider than 8".

At one point it could be that you moved something to the right of the report then moved it back, but Access doesn't always bring back the the page width. You have to do it manually.
