Microsoft Access In Small Business

Dear All,
Does anybody know of any sites, books, journals, mags etc. that have information on Microsoft Access and why it is a good database for the small business. I'm looking for stuff that talks about user friendliness etc.
I know that this is a bit vague, but help would be appreciated

I don't know of any books or magazines, but I have used Access in many Small businesses. The best feature of Access for small business is Cost. If you want to use a larger DBMS, you are looking at MUCH larger costs than Access.

Not to mention that you can get stuff designed for Access in less time, and for less money than Oracle, or SQL Server, for example. Jim Lunde

i have just finished designing a database for small business in access. this encludes membership role,financial week number allocation,weekly business planning service,bought ledger,and vat return forms based on balance sheets.access is great fot this type of work, and with care your presentation can be very professional. All the guys on tek-tips will be ready to help, so use this forum for your problems.One of the areas that is difficult to achieve when you design your own programs in in payrole,because tax tables are changing all the time, companies like sage and quickboods require you to sign up at cost in order to get constantly revise tax tables. however, desiging a payrole database is quite simple providing your tax copilations are done manually from books.
