I am trying to write over 20 IIF statments in one query, but Access tells me that the statement is too long. Is there a function that can be used instead of IIF that has no limit to the coding that can be entered.
I have also tried the SWITCH Function and come up with the same problem.

Thanks

Hi nzscout,

It's been a while since I used Access in anger, but what about using intermediate fields to help?

Enjoy,
Tony

It would help to understand some of the fields and what you want the iif's to accomplish. Also, you may find better responses posting in one of the many Access forums on this site. There is one for queries alone.
