hi
i have a invoice form and a subform , which is based on a query , for the query you have to enter the order number , to see the values of that order

BUT
on the form i have to enter the number once for the main form and then again for the subform , is there anyway i can just enter the order number once for the main form and the subform

Is the link between the Main report and the subreport the Order Number? - if yes, have you set the link fields properties of the subform control?

this for is made up from a query , which you have to enter the order number to get the information , and there is also so fields from the product table in the form so the main form and subform are not linked , but the subform and the main form both take information from the query
