1) I created a new Access Database with linked tables from SQL Server 6.5.
(2) I am trying to create a new report - design view, and I keep getting this error message
Microsoft Access can't open the file 'MFCANS32.DLL'

I have the dll in winnt\system32 directory.

Any ideas about the error message?

Try coping the file from someone elses computer and replacing yours. make a copy of yours first just in case something goes wrong, for backup.
