Hi

I'm using Acccess XP (2002 SP3) with the rest of Office 2010 in a Windows 7 Professional environment (Corporate policy !)

My Access databases have recently started giving the error:

"Microsoft Access can't complete the output operation
The Visual Basic code you entered contains a syntax error or the Output procedures are not available.
Make sure there isn't a syntax error in your code. If the syntax is correct, run Setup to re-install Access "..... etc.

This happens when I try to export using the quick buttons to Word and Excel and if I try to use VB Export procedures.

It didn't used to do that and it doesn't do it on other PCs on my network using the same databases.
My IT dept has uninstalled and reinstalled MS Access

As it happens when I'm not running code from the database, I'm thinking that it calling from a library somewhere with incompatible code ?!?!?

Any suggestions gratefully received

The one thing I would try is running the report to print preview to see if it gives an error. I would also see if I could create a file manually in the target folder.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I have actually found that recreating my Windows User Profile solved the problem so I guess it was related to a corrupt profile somehow.
