I am having a problem with Access 95 installed on Windows 2000 connecting slowly over a WAN connection. I run an update query to an Oracle 8i database over a WAN - when it is run on a Windows 2000 box it takes about 4 hours to complete. When the same database/query is run on a Windows 95 machine, it runs in about 5 minutes. Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggestions? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. :D
