This is probably a simple question?<br>
I want to import a day's worth of flight information which I can do.<br>
My question is if I write a series of reports of where the information goes. Can I keep those report formats and just download the next day's information into them and generate the reports almost instantly? I am new to Access.<br>

Reports in Access are independant of the data in your database. Your report might stop working if you import the new data to another table. Even then, all you have to do is change the row source of your report to keep it working.<br>

Where are the reports finding the info now? They must be using tables or queries (which, in turn, would use tables). If you can import the new data into the same tables that you are currently using, and then flag the new data in some way (a current date would be good), then it would not be difficult to have the query call up only the new info, and have the report use the new info the query called up.<br>

The main thing here is to make sure the new info's formats match those of the old formats. If not, adapt your report to the new info's format, and use that from now on.<br>
