These passwords are in the software, sybase, and the permissions to access the software come from micros. End of the day, you can back up the whole system and install a clean fresh virgin micros install. Then restore the DB, goto employee classes, give your class access to backup, restore, DM stuff, then access DM and goto PASSWORDS and set your own DM password.
As long as your backups & encryption keys, \ETC, \SCRIPTS, \IMAGES and all that are safe somewhere else, you then can do what you like
