Micros WS4LX platform update. CF Issue.

trying to update platform. ERROR running the self hardware test it says "partition is too small for this image***

WS has a 1 GB CF card.

Any thoughts appreciated.Thanks

My experience is that anything pre-WS5A will only work with 512MB cards max, but I have not worked with the WS4LX before.

Have a 256 mb winter card and tried to update and same issue?

The only advice I have there is to try formatting the card from the device itself with the WCF utility. The WS5s and older require FAT16, I think, and most PCs or cameras will format them as FAT32.

Not 100% sure but I believe DJensen999 is correct. I have 256 mb CF cards in the majority of our WKS4 and WKS4 LX
