Boss handed me a project... I have a Micros WS4 POS station
that boots up to the e7 screen. I want to disable the Micros boot and load an alternative OS "XP imbedded" on a CF card, rather than the current MS CE but I can't figure out how to prevent the Micros load. I see a 32Mg chip on the mobo, is that it? Mobo has only two jumpers that I can see, do I change these in any way?
There must be a way to do this, why would Micros make a POS terminal that only Micros can use, wouldn't that limit your buying audience?
Please advise as to how I may load xp on this Micros WS4.
