Micros Workstation4LX CF Card Issue

Hi All,

I have a strange issue with a WS4LX, basically if I run CAL, it copies the required files to the CF card and starts OPS, but if i use windows explorer to browse the CF card, there are no visible files?? have tried to format the card and CAL, but still same issue... i'm scratching my head over this one...

Good point, will try another till's CF, wipe and re-CAL...

Finally got round to trying out a new CF card, it worked, very strange...

The other one could be a bad card, or higher class that what the WKS4LX can handle.

Hmmm guess so, but it was a card supplied by Oracle in a support swap out workstation... so you would expect them to use compatible cards..
I only noticed the issue when I trying to browse the CF card to find a .bmp for the screensaver.

If you want to move a bmp file to it for the screensaver, I would suggest using a USB stick. Then moving the bmp file over to \DOC\Scrnsaver.
Then launch the scrnsavui.exe and set it to the bmp you just copied over.
