Anyone here that uses Micros (3700 or Simphony) in a hotel with Opera front office?
It appears that from time to time the Interface is acting and is loosing connection (in multiple sites) so at this stage when an employee is trying to close a bill they get an error message on screen IFS no communication. Check network cables. The employee will press OK and will try and close it again getting the same error message. At this stage for what ever reason Opera is getting the transaction twice but in Micros the bill is still open which is causing financial issues.
Logged this with Oracle but got 0 support on this. They try to say it's our fault.
Anyone out there that has the same issue? Anyone manage to get this fixed?
