Is there a file in Micros that lists all menu items I can import into Excel. If so where would it be located or created. With that I should be able to import the item list into Aloha so save a bunch of typing.

What version of Micros?
Also, not sure how easy it is to "Import" these into Aloha.

Not at all familiar with Micros, where would I find version number.
Not worried about import directly into Aloha. I have a way to force it using excel, dbfnavigator and crossed fingers

Export it directly from the database. Open dbisql and sign in using custom, custom selecting the micros odbc as your database.

Select * from micros.mi_def

Will give you the items. What else do you need? The actual information is stored across multiple tables. Prices, condiment grouping, etc etc are all apart of other tables.

I just need the items, did not want to type 3000 plus items if I can just sort, cut and paste. I will give that a try.
