Micros Sim VoidDetail not working

In Sim, the command VoidDetail does not appear to be working if a credit authorization exists on the check. Since this command fails silently, I have no clue what is causing the problem. If I manually void the same item on the same check, it does work. Any clues as to what is causing this or how to get around it?

I don't think the VoidDetail command works on items that have already been service totaled, does it?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it does. I usually use it and have not seen a problem in most cases. It only seems to not work if a credit card authorization exists on a check.
