I am in desperate need of someone to help me create a custom MICROS SIM. To properly account for happy hour food/drink specials, I would like to have certain menu items that when selected would do 2 transactions in one. Ring in at full price (stored in menu level 1) and then a discount done based on a price in menu level 3. I know that happy hour can be automated to do a net price but that throws off the cost of sales and makes it impossible to my employees based on cost of sales without manually adding back in net discounts like happy hour or daily specials.

I also would like to have menu items that are available at certain times of the day - like lunch specials - that you can see from 11am-1pm, then disappear. I know how to do this for a menu item, how can I create a lunch special touch screen button that shows up on a set frequency.

For example - I want a button that is for Monday lunch specials that shows up every Monday from 11am-1pm. Then when it is avaialble it calls up menu items that are the Monday lunch specials. The button is not available otherwise so the staff can't ring in those items by mistake at the reduced price on another day.

I will pay an expert to help write the SIM and help create an easy process for automated time based touchscreen buttons.
