Micros RES3700 5.1MR2 issue

Hi,

We are facing a major issue after enabling Arabic receipt printing.

The issue we are facing is as below:
1.Begin table / transaction
2.Punch menu items
3.Don’t select any item and simply press void button once
4.Then press the print button
5.System will print the check but no orders will go to kitchen
6.The above check will not be there under open checks and also it will not affect your sales

We suspect staff are using this to charge customers without punching the transaction.

We are on RES3700 5.1MR2. Our dealer replicated this issue and its now escalated to development.

Are any of you guys facing the same issue? Any thoughts on how we can minimise the risk?

Change the print button to be a macro.

Step 1 Clear
Step 2 Print

This will clear the single void entry.
