System is a Windows XP with RES 4.9.
Not sure if we had a USB key and it was lost. Any way to find out?
Currently system says it's not licensed in the Micros license manager.
OPS terminals get messages saying grace period is expiring in few days.

Is there any way to check how it was being licensed
And what do we do to replace USB key.

Any help is appreciated.

RES 4.9 require a software key and a USB/COM dongle to run. But this was changed after acquisition by Oracle and this is no way to retrieve the key even pay. If you are with Oracle maintenance then can contact the support team and get a license compliance patch to remove the license.

There are occasions that even if you have the license in order, the system indicates that issue because a micros service is down, I do not remember if it is the MICROS Remoting Service or MICROS Distributed Service Manager verifies if they are running.

Thanks. All micros services were running. We restarted the system a few times and eventually it started showing the license.
Appreciate the help.
