Wondering if any superusers can help with this. I am running RES 5.7.6 on Windows 10 Build 1909. I have two MICROS Tablets 720. Once has windows 8.1, the other has Windows 10. When I run CAL on the tablets everything pushes over fine from the server. Until the end when it gets to the Client Trust utility. The units will fail with a CONNECTION FAILURE. "Unable to connect to the server. This client may not function properly until it is reconnected. Do you wish to try again?"
Windows firewall is disabled on both server and tablets. You can ping back and forth. I took a tablet and tried it on another system that has Windows 2016 build 1607. Same version 5.7.6. Tablets worked fine. I'm wondering if there is something in Windows 10 that's not happy. ALL of my other workstation touchscreens work fine (Workstation 5,5A). they load no problem.
As an additional test, I tried to CAL a regular windows 10 desktop instead of a tablet. Same result CONNECTION FAILURE at last step.
I AM using the ACTIVATE DISCOVERY MODE. But no luck. Thanks.
