I've noticed the newer versions of Micros use an odd-ball .regx file with the data in it rather than an actual reg file. Has anyone tried manually restore this into the registry to see if it actually works, does anyone know how to restore one of these key files correctly? The data in the file doesn't seem to match whats actually in the registry, plus it has that extra field. It looks more like this is a file the software is using to recreate the necessary registry keys rather than being the data itself.
