Hello ....need help on understanding on how to add/modify and activate condiments, i am an xAloha user and am trying to migrate to micros, for example how do i
create a modifier/s and than activate to a menu item as the server will need to select the modifier ( like fries or salad ) and for meats temps, million thx in advance ....

Adding a new Menu Item Via the Pos Configurator

Step 1

Double click the POS CONFIGURATOR icon on the desktop.


Step 2

The system will now require you to enter your Micros Security ID code.


Step 3

Click on the Sales tab, and then click Menu Items



Step 4

Ensure that if you are adding a starter you click on the name of a starter or if you are adding a Red Wine ensure that you find a red wine already on the list.
Once you have highlighted the item, press the copy record button and the paste record button
In this instance we will copy Chick Wings as we are trying to enter a new starter called Cheese Platter


Step 5

Once you have copied and pasted the record you will need to change the name, it must be the name of the new menu item you are trying add.


Step 6

After changing the name, all that is left to do is change the price.



Step 7

Press the Green Tick at the top of the screen to save your changes.
