Micros Res 3700 ERROR "Cannot Edit Add/Xfer Check"

One of our servers picked up a check from another server, then it supposedly dissapeared. I found a chit for it and tried to re-open it and this is the message I get "cannot edit add/xfer check" and then it exits out. Anyone have a way around this issue. When i pull up that servers closed check report the check is there and is closed for 0.00 even though when I pull it up it says there was a value of around $80 and nothing about it being closed to cash or card.

Any help is appreciated.
