Is there a way to print the Employee Class or Job Code onto the kitchen chit header.
I have searched for quite a while, and I feel like the only way to do this is to write a SIM that calls a custom DLL to pull the info from the micros database using the @CKEMP variable as the key so I can create a local variable that will print on the header.
Am I on the right path, or is there a easier way to do this that I overlooked? A little background on why; The business is using Server Alert to do paging, and I use employee classes as opposed to assigning pagers to individual employees. The job codes will automate the assigning of pagers to the employee classes (and also track which staff has what pager, as they go missing frequently).
Any help greatly appreciated.
