Facts: Site is at 5.7.3.4. Newly upgrading from 5.2. Having PreCalender issue.

What was done: I attempted to upgrade to 5.7.6.5 but immediately after starting the process it says the version of software on the server is newer than what I'm running.

I then tried to go to to 5.7.4, but that then failed during the DB upgrade claiming the DB version is newer on the server.

I had to rerun 5.7.3.4 to get things back up since RES operations would not start with the 5.7.4 files installed on the server, prior to the DB upgrade failing.

Looks like Oracle screwed up the versioning somewhere along the line. Any chance there was in intermediate upgrade somewhere along the line that fixed this? Otherwise I was thinking I might have to hack the version in the registry to get the 5.7.6.5 upgrade to go through. Of course if there are a couple of files I could place to get by the Precalendar issue, that would suffice too.

Here is a pic of the error.

Can you jump straight from 5.2 to 5.7? I think not

First upgrade to 5.4 and then to 5.7 and finally run the calendar bug patch for version 5.7

Minor upgrades need to be installed BEFORE hotfixes!
You need to patch to 5.7.6
Then you can upgrade to 5.7.6.5

I made this mistake while rushing through updates on a fresh install as well.
