Micros -"Tracking Group In Use. Cannot edit or insert Tracking Total Records."

whenever i add a new discount i cant see it in the report ... so someone advised that i must add new discounts in tracing groups ...

when i try so .. micros does not allow creating new groups .. and when i try to edit obsolete discounts i get this error

"Tracking Group In Use. Cannot edit or insert Tracking Total Records."

please advice

When you are not open or running sales;
Open dbisql and log in.
Execute
"update micros.trk_grp_def
set ob_grp_in_use = 'f'"
Update your tracking groups as needed.

Thanks for your reply , and can you add more details on how to do it as i ve no previous knowledge of database ..

When the restaurant is not open log in to dbisql. Go "Start", "Run", and type in dbisql. Login in with "support" "support"
Type in the above statement in the execute window and press the execute button.
You then log in to posconfig should be able to adjust the totals tacking groups. When sales are posted you will be locked out again.
