Micros POS Range - An app managers or support use to monitor workstations?

Im currently looking for my next application to develop and looking for some feedback.

I have an idea to create an app which can show Live information from the POS system such as:

1. Basic system daily financials, employee sales totals etc.
2. Live feed of the actions being performed on a workstation which shows the menu items being ordered, void, transaction cancels, cash drawer opens etc (Possibly useful for monitoring employees suspected of fraud)
3. Device monitoring, showing online/offline devices. Possibly notifications if a device goes offline for too long.

Id initially create this for Simphony but could also do it for RES.

Would this interest anyone? I still have to workout what i would charge for this system.

Yes very interested as a web app.

Our company has developed for a 5* hotel customer a webapp who works in combination with pos8 and Fidelio that shows open tables, todays events, for the kitchen and reception.
and a Housekeeping App for Fidelio too..


and a new KDS would be also nice for Table Service. like
Many Customers are not really Happy with the KDS which is optimized for McD BK Fast Service and not Table Service with Courses.
