I have no experience with micros but my customer asked me if I could figure out how to print from their micros. After a power failure they replace their one micros terminal with a spare one. It now doesn't print (it does print to the print roll connected) but not the remote printer. It gives a network error which I'm assuming means the device configuration is incorrect but... I don't know how to determine the correct info for this remote printer. I see the the device configuration, with ISDN numbers etc... I'm assuming this is what I need to change.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

posconfig/devices/devices/ Select the printer name. I'm not sure how much info you want or need but here is the config including controlling node, ip, etc...
Is this what you meant?

Michelle,

Thank you for your reply. I think I need more information. I guess you are saying if I go to posconfig & choose devices I'll be able to see the printer information? If you could give me a little more guidance that would be great.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Caroline, what version of Micros are you working on?

Check the dip switch settings on the new printer. Make sure they match the old broken printer. If the workstation is talking to the printer via a daisy chain then this could be the issue.
