Micros POS customized greeting message on receipts

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and to Micos POS systems. I'm interested in learning about customizing and configuring POS system. I have recently bought a used Micros POS system and i'm exploring it's features. I would like to know whether is there any way to print a customized random greeting messages on receipts? If so what i need to do? Please assist me. Or please divert me to the right way to learn more about customizing or configuring Micros system. I had set up the micros system to a SQL database server and i'm able to print receipts. But i would like to understand how it works.
