Hello,

I'm moving a database from a micros v3 to v4 system. I've updated the database in DM, but my terminals give the following error after CAL:

PCI Security Settings are not in Place
Default DBA/MICROS password(s) in use
Default Sensitive Data/Databases Encryption Passphrases in use
Tender/Media masking options not properly configured
Complex security not properly configured

What are the default DBA/Micros passwords, so I can change them in DM?
Where do I change the sensitive data encryption passphrases?
What is the proper config for masking?
Complex security is all handled in System->Restaurant->Security, right?

Thanks!

Open database manager, go to encryption, check all three check boxes, and rotate all of your keys. It will do a rebuild so choose a time when you have the time...

Its talking about your encryption and transport keys. A bit misleading verbiage, but there you go.
