Micros IDN printer pauses while printing

Hi all

I have a Micros system 3700 3.2 with a mix of terms [eclipses and WS4's) One of the terminals an eclipse the printer attached will stop then start printing a lengthy job such as a closing report. The printer is connected by IDN with a remote printer connected to it. The remote printer works fine and doesnt get many orders. The one Im having trouble with is the guest check printer Epson TM88 this is the one that pauses while printing.

Any ideas would be appreciated

do you have a nother TmT88 you can swap with it to see if you have the same issue with a different printer?

Hi,
How many printers is this Eclipse controlling? It sounds like 1 IDN TM-T88. If it is controlling a few printers, this may be the reason for it being slow / jerky. Agree with swapping the printer over to see if the result varies.
