Hi

I have a few Micros handheld which are not working on my AVAYA WLAN 8180.Can anybody help me with this issue.
thanks

Not sure on the Avaya, but on other systems we have had to enable CSA for certain types of handhelds to work. This would most likely be somewhere in the radio profile settings.

i cannot find CSA on WLAN 8180.I am using motorolla mc55a0.These APs are working fine with other standalone APs.The handheld is not detecting the SSID from the WlAN 8180

Not sure what the issue could be. DO you have your channels hardcoded on the 8180 side? Maybe the handheld is looking on a different channel than the 8180 is broadcasting on. What band are the APs on the 8180 side using? COuld also be that the handheld is on 2.4ghz, but the AP profileon the 8180 is set for the 5 Ghz band. Just some ideas of where to look. Are you able to see the SSID with other wireless devices?
