We recently upgraded from Micros version 3.2 to ver 4, and upgraded the eclipses from win 95 to win 2000. Their specs are celeron 333, 512 Ram and plenty of HDD space. I am finding that the machines are slow total checks when moving to payment screens, sometimes a delay can occur when a check / clock in/out or report needs to print, and it seems that they are generally slower to respond to touch screen input - this was not the case before the upgrade. Just kind of looking for users' experience with the eclipse hardware - what level would impove it. The server runs 9 eclipses and is a 2.4 Pentium with 2GB of ram .. it doesn't seem taxed so I am assuming it's the terminals.
