micros e7 sync question

A friend had hardware issues with his micros 3.2 server. I fixed it overnight. Im not very familiar with micros. would the workstations have completed EOD without the server? how do I sync the data back up with the server.

Putting the PC Inactive, plugging back in the network, making it active again and then updating dfinitions on the PC and each of the workstations did the trick.
