Micros e7 setup 1

I am attempting to configure a used micros system to work in my Juice bar. I downloaded and installed the e7 software and now attempting to add menu items. I've defined categories but when attempting to add actual menu items I'm receiving a "choose family group first" message. There is no 'group' tab available when I highlight my defined categories.

What gives?

Start from the bottom of the configurator and work your way up. By the time you get to menu items you will not have these problems

Thanks for the advice DRZogg. I'm contining to have problens however. I am getting the message "need to Program a touchscreen key for configurator" How should I Proceed?

Hi,
There is a tab for employee types (cant remember the name) and each employee class has its own default screen type.
