Micros e7 network inactive

My client has micros e7 on two pos systems and one pc. Within Micros, on the pc, the pc is showing as active and network active but the two pos systems are showing as inactive and the network inactive. From the pos systems, both pos systems are showing as active and network active but the pc is showing as inactive and network inactive. I can ping both pos systems from the pc, and I can ping the pc and pos systems from the pos systems. Physical connectivity is not the issue. How do I get all three of these machines talking to each other within the micros software?

Are the network names the same in all devices?
Have you made each terminal active? (can be only done from each terminal)

Yes networks are the same, systems have been set as active from each workstation.
