Trying to set up my own lab.
Currently has a micros.db and log but I would like several versions though. Is my only option a VM Server set up with several version of RES. (4.1, 4.8 etc..)
Also, how to ?upload (copy) a database to the lab while one is running.
I am always looking up docs on Sybase website and such, but I think this is a little different.

thanks

Yes your only option is to run multiple systems with different versions installed. If you have a 4.1 micros.db and log file you can put that into the \micros\database\data folder in 4.8. Start the database via control panel to back of house. Go into the database manager and select update database.
