Micros database

This question pertains to a micros e7 system

I want to know the technical feasibility of the following
a) Install a software agent that is always running, even through system restarts.
b) extracting transaction information (SKUs, dollar values but not the payment related information) in real time.
c) Programmatically change the receipt printer being used by e7

Furthermore I would like to be able to do this without getting a micros developer license.

You ever find a solution to this? I haven't either, but we've started mapping databases. The table structure is absolutely ridiculous and needlessly complicated, with over 1500 tables in some of these systems.
