Hi Guys,

how do you compute for the daily, weekly and mothly Database size? even yearly.. for Micros Database?

Not sure what you mean by "compute" The database size will be based on how many transactions you do, what you track and for how long, and if you use LM, PM or FM. Once the database builds out in size it usually hits a peak and stays about the same size. Ours run about 1.1GB You can do a rebuild to clean out some unused tables.

let's say i have a total of 6,720 checks for all RVC on a single day, what will be the size on the database? Btw, what's LM, PM or FM stands for?

I would have no on a size to checks. LM - Labour Mangemenet, PM - Product Management (Inventory), FM - Financial Management All 3 add alot to the database.

Honestly, I don't; it's too dynamic. The servers we buy from Micros have a 500G D: drive dedicated to just the Micros applications and a 1T backup drive to hold the db, report and script folder backups. Transaction volume will max out and normalize at 14 days. the only thing that will grow after that point is the transaction analyzer archive if you're using it.
