Micros Check detail error version fix? (stuck check)

I know how to fix the stuck check. But friend is on 4.1 and question is what version did they fix this?
I know it came out but been a while and I forgot.

Are you referring to "chk_dtl read failure" when you say stuck check? If so we still get that error the odd time on version 5.2.

That error happens when the details in a check are incomplete or corrupt. It happens a lot if there are power fluctuations at a workstation, or if a workstation shuts down with a check open. The error is thrown rather than taking the chance of continuing with an inaccurate check.
