Hey.
Here is an unencrypted OpsDisplaySys.cfg. When you look at touchscreen templates, this is the cfg those templates are in. Run CAL onto your windows CE device, and redesign the pixel based layout for the templates here. Hell, make new templates and make your new screen use that template.
thanks - I already have custom opsdisplaysys.cfg file.
My problem is this:
When I execute the cal file on the CE device, I just get an error: "This is not a valid Windows CE application"
The version of CE is 6.0 and I took the files from a workstation 5, also running CE 6.1. Have you actually installed Micros on a CE client other than a micros workstation? Which micros CAL files should I use?
No I havent, other than mobile (HHTs). From installing other POS types I have had to install MSXML6, dotnet 1.1 a SQLExpress (for SQLServer client).
Looking at the docs for MC50, 55 & 70 there is an OS, a platform file and then CAL. I guess these are all packaged into the nk.bin. .bin There are nk.bin packagers out there, but really I dont know anything about them.
If you need hex files for these things above, I can put them up.
thanks - I don't have a problem with the Symbol devices, since Micros officially supports them. I was trying to "trick" another CE device into loading Micros, though - just havne't had any luck without using remote desktop or VNC.
