I am programing a new micros any need assistance...
for bartender screen i need it to be kept signed in as it signs them out every time they order an item ..thx in advance
That's an option in employee classes. In the configurator go to the Employees tab, Employee Classes button, Clock In / Sign In tab. Select your bartender class and uncheck the "Sign out after transaction" option.
You'll probably want to enable the Auto Sign-Out for your workstations. This allows the workstation to sign people out if its been idle for a set amount of time. In the configurator go to the Devices tab, User Workstations button. Do the following for each of your bar workstations:
On the General tab enter an Auto sign-out Delay. This is the number of seconds the workstation will remain idle before logging someone out.
On the Options tab check the Enable Employee Auto sign-out option.
many thx and it worked....
how do the bartenders name a check for a guest that needs to stay open after an item/s is ordered as i do have keys like name a ck but it gives an error msg ...
The button to add a name or id to a check should be set up like this in touchscreen designer:
Category - Function:Check Operations
Function - Guest Check ID
how do i restrict the system not to allow check-out with open checks even with the manager's sign, as we dont have manager all the time and i dont want the staff to check-out with open checks in the system
i want to create a key for the credit card like a manual key as we process the cc on a separate machine and currently we have a key built manual cc and the server just enters the amount and the tip amount for the check-out and submits the credit card check-out from the second machine, sounds complicated but it will take few wks before we do the micros credit card, how do it create a key in the micros so the server can enter the base amount and the tip amount for the check-out purpose......many thx and once i get this i will start using micros...
