micros 3700d "credit card authorization not enabled"

when we are running the credit cards, we are getting the error that credit card authorization not enabled. please help. earlier we had a problem with McAfee firewall which was blocking the communication between server & work stations. Micros trouble shoot the problem and advise us to disable firewall. after that there is communication between sever & work stations. Micros asked us to call diner equity to configure McAfee firewall because they are the one who installed McAfee. but we don't have any contract with them. please help. Micros think that firewall also blocking credit cards.
