Server ordering main screen....can i add a send key on the first key as its now on the review which is the 2nd screen, and how do i prevent them to clock-out/sign-out if one of their check is open.....best regards

Sure. In the touchscreen designer just copy the key from the review screen and paste it onto the main order screen. The touchscreens aren't standard, every distributer has their own way of setting up the screens, but the screens are very flexible so this shouldn't be a problem.

There's an option in Employee Classes on the Clock In/Sign In tab. Uncheck "Clock out with open checks". Managers will be able to override this for an employee if this is checked for the manager class.

thx n will try tomorrow ............i am processing credit card via internet and it can go down is there an option for dial up as a back up or it will be to complicated ....regards

Usually, but it depends on your contract with MerchantLink. You'll have to give them a call to find out and to get a local dial-up number.

great the screen is done, how do i disable the micros boh security sign in as have to sign in every time i need to make a change .....best regards

You can't disable the security. The configurator needs to know who you are so it decide what privileges to assign.

If you're running version 4.4 or higher you can set it to use windows authentication. This will inherit the username from your windows session so you don't have to enter a password every time you open the configurator. If not then there's no way around it.

one last question for the day....how do you repeat an order similar to aloha as you can highlight the item and hit the button repeat ....rgds

Micros calls it Touch Reorder. There's a pretty decent write-up in the configurator's help files. It isn't listed in the index, so go to the content tab and drill down to the T's in the feature reference section.
